Vice President of Underwriting

• This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape underwriting strategy, risk management, and profitability across a growing health insurance organization.
• You will oversee underwriting functions spanning fully insured and self-funded health plans, stop-loss, ancillary, and specialty products.
• The role combines strategic direction with operational oversight, pricing discipline, regulatory compliance, and team development.
• You will work closely with Sales, Actuarial, Finance, Claims, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to balance sustainable growth with disciplined risk selection.
• Your expertise will help strengthen pricing methodologies, risk frameworks, underwriting performance, and market positioning.
• You will also lead initiatives to improve workflows, automation, analytics, consistency, and turnaround times across underwriting operations.
• This position is suited to an experienced underwriting leader who can build high-performing teams while maintaining strong financial and regulatory discipline.
