About This Job
Join a growing Warehouse Lending team where you'll own two of the most critical functions in the business: loan processing and collateral management. As a Warehouse Lending Specialist, you'll be the person who keeps loans moving - funding and repaying advances through our loan origination system, tracking collateral from receipt through shipment, and coordinating with third-party document custodians to keep every file accurate and audit-ready. You'll work directly with originators and vendor clients, build real subject-matter expertise in mortgage warehouse lending, and have a clear line of sight to how your day-to-day work supports the bank's funding operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes precision, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow their career in mortgage finance. Additional responsibilities include customer relations, aged loan management, and loan processing.
- Daily funding and repayment of loan advances through automated systems, while working to ensure compliance with established operating procedures and loan guidelines.
- Customer relations, loan processing, wire distribution, cross-application transactions, collateral monitoring & reporting, aged loan management and daily reconciliation of business unit general ledger accounts.

- Customer service (B2B) and portfolio management
- Management and oversight of mortgage loan collateral files and electronic transmissions
Qualifications :
- 2+ years experience in the mortgage industry preferred, but we will evaluate candidates without direct experience.
- Preferred: solid understanding of the mortgage lending and origination process, residential loan documentation, and mortgage loan processing.
- Experience with collateral management and integrations with third-party document custodians is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and knowledge of Warehouse Loan System (WLS), OptiFunder, or an equivalent platform is a strong plus; experience with third-party document custodian integrations (e.g., collateral tracking, trailing document management) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
