What You’ll Do

As a Water Heater Selling Technician, you’ll serve as both a hands-on technician and trusted sales advisor , selling and installing water heater solutions in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities include:

• •Recommend and sell replacement water heaters, filtration systems, and related upgrades during service calls
• •Close sales by presenting options, pricing, and value clearly and confidently
• •Install gas, electric, and tankless water heaters in compliance with safety and code requirements
• •Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and maintenance
• •Use AI-powered sales coaching tools to review calls and sharpen selling skills
• •Educate customers on energy efficiency, performance, and long-term value
• •Maintain truck inventory, complete documentation, and keep clean job sites
• •Coordinate with dispatch and installers to ensure timely job completion
• •Work overtime as needed due to the emergency nature of water heater services
• •Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• •Sales experience preferred—you’re comfortable presenting options and asking for the sale
• •At least 1 year of relevant field experience (plumbing background preferred)
• •Strong communication and customer service skills
• •Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and performing ield work
• •Coachable, growth-minded, and open to feedback
• •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per company policy
