Gerhart is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our talented team based in Tatamy, PA. This is your chance to work on challenging, high-impact projects and grow your career while getting rewarded for your expertise.

What You’ll Do:

Fabricate from professional blue prints or sketches as required

Work with a variety of metal welding and grinding/sanding techniques in order to work at a very high degree of accuracy and finished product

Fabricate from raw material to finished product

What You Bring:

Familiar with common metal shop tools and equipment. (i.e. welders - TIG & MIG, Brazing, Cutting Torches, grinders, breaks, drills, taps, saws, fixtures, measuring, etc.)

Effective communication skills is a must

Capable of working both independently and as a team to perform all jobs and projects

Previous work experience with Pipe Fitting, Tube Bending, Compression Fitting Experience

Forklift Certification

Physically Fit; position requires consistent lifting, moving, and carrying product 50 lb or more

Willing and able to bend, crawl, and lift for extended periods of time in a safe manner meeting company guidelines and OSHA standards

Self-motivated with critical thinking skills
