Duties and responsibilities:
- 1. Event Coordinator
- a. Plan and execute events related to specific University Life functions such as new student programs, leadership, and student involvement.
- b. Design, coordinate, and regularly update a schedule of tasks to complete in preparation for each University Life event.
- c. Manage event logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, and budgeting. This includes communicating with PR intern for promotion plans and sharing technical needs with Operations intern.
- d. Maintain updated online event calendar entries for Mason360, MKUL email account, and university event calendars across RSOs, student groups, and MKUL staff-led programs.
- 2. Communications & Program Support
- a. Marketing & Creative Content
- Create posters, flyers, banners, brochures, infographics, and digital content to promote University Life events and initiatives.
- Develop event teasers, short-form videos, and highlight reels to engage students and showcase University Life programs.
- b. Campus Outreach & Event Support
- Support and coordinate the UL Community Crew for campus outreach and event engagement.
- Assist with event planning, setup, on-site operations, and post-event activities.
- c. Event Logistics & Administrative Support
- Coordinate with Facilities Management and Mason Korea ITS to arrange event spaces, equipment, and technical support.
- Support data collection, basic event analytics, and reporting.
- Manage event-related packages, supplies, and deliveries.
Desired qualifications:
- 1) Be proficient in English and Korean;
- 2) Be detail-oriented;
- 3) Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;
- 4) Be able to work independently and efficiently while prioritizing a number of different tasks; and
- 5) Demonstrate strong work ethic.
Work Hours per student: 40 hours/week during break and 15 hours/week during semester sessions. Seeking 2 student(s).
- Period: Jan 11 - Feb 19, 2027 during the break
- Feb 22 - Jun 19, 2027 during the semester.

- Students must meet the following requirements:
- * Must have completed at least one semester at Mason Korea and have an official GPA record.
- * Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits for the upcoming semester to be eligible. *Not registering for classes in the upcoming semester may lead to termination of the work-study contract.
- * Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher) **Include your Cumulative GPA on your resume.
- Newly selected students will be required to attend an orientation session either during the break or semester. Those who are required to attend will be notified individually.
- A note on break housing:
- * Potential work & Study students can reach out to UL's Sr. Coordinator of Student Housing or IGC housing office directly, if they would like to receive more information about break housing.
- * UL does not guarantee housing during the summer & winter breaks for the work & study program students who apply for the housing.
- * However, since the break housing is usually offered on a first-come, first served bases, please note that the housing office cannot guarantee availability if all rooms are already occupied.
- * Work & Student students will follow the same procedure as other students (application period, payment deadline, etc.) if they are planning to apply for break housing at IGC.
