We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Material Handler to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for transporting and loading materials, supplies, and finished goods using a forklift, electronic pallet jack, hand pallet jack, or carry by hand.

Requirements

• •Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• •Prepares and maintains records of materials received/shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other information.
• •Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
• •Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
• •Transport and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods using a forklift, electronic pallet jack, hand pallet jack, or carry by
• •hand.
• •When problems arise internally, material handler will resolve issues or make corrections.
• •Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• •Prolonged periods sitting on a forklift· Prolonged periods of standing while sorting.
• •Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.
• •Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.
• •Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• •5 years of experience driving a forklift
• •Been certified as a forklift driver
• •Excellent verbal communication skills.
• •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• •Understands instructions and has the ability to follow through on those instructions.
• •Good math and written communication skills.
• •Must be proficient on a computer and is able to learn proprietary software.
• •Efficient time management skills.

Education:

• •High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.
• •At least five years of related experience required.

This position is at our Elk Grove Village, IL location.

Pay Range : $18.00 - $21.00

The base salary for this role will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
