1st shift Sample Maker - (Commercial)

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Process, make and ship samples accurately while meeting production standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• •Put up Sample Stock.
• •Run labels, Label Samples and pull Sample Orders.
• •Bevel Carpet.
• •Must enter shipments into SAP.
• •List and restock returns; Unpack boxes and sort samples.
• •Pull tile boxes weighing up to 50 lbs and stack on pallets for vendor shipments.
• •Must pull, pack and ship the required number of parcels per shift.
• •Other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• •Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack.
• •Must be able to drive a Stand-Up Lift Truck.
• •Must be able to type.
• •Must lift and move tile boxes weighing 50 lbs.
• •Good reading and math skills.
• •Basic Computer skills (SAP).
• •Must work flexible hours.
• •Must have good communication skills and must be able to work independently .
• •Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
• •Must be able to demonstrate ability to work in and operate a high lift.
• •Must have had no written warnings (for any reason) in the last 18 months.
• •Must be willing to complete a 90 day probationary period.
