2027 Facilities Coordinator Intern

The Facilities Coordinator Intern will be responsible for the leadership/development and coaching of the team. Performance Management will be carried out by the Facilities Coordinator – Maintenance. This role also leads the technical team in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Fulfilment Centre (FC). The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operational success. If equipment is not available or performs badly it minimizes the capacity and throughput of the site.

• Key job responsibilities
• •Provide supervision and leadership to Facility Supervisors
• •Develop preventive and predictive maintenance of FC assets including material handling and automation systems
• •Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, control, and mechanical systems — including relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors and scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, and belts).
• •Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site
• •Manage day to day engineering and soft services including housekeeping and upkeep of premises
• •Manage employee health safety and statuary compliances of Fulfilment Centre including waste management and hazardous waste management as per by laws, timely renewal of licences

Internship length is 3 to 6 months, full-time.

Basic qualifications

• - Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• - Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
• - Available to commence an internship between January and December 2027. Yes, our start dates are flexible! You should then be available for 3-6 months, full time (40h/week).
