Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, AL .

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Global C2 Solutions Business Unit’s Business Operations and Strategic Growth team.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• •Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
• •Be majoring in Project Management, Engineering Management, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Business Management or related field
• •Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• •Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• •Experience with data analytics and/or project management
• •Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• •Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization software programs
• •Experience with project management tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, MS Planner, MS Project)
• •Ability to develop and execute strategic plans

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

Intern Pay Range :

• •Bachelors: $22.75- $27.50 per hour
• •Masters: $32.75- $34.50 per hour
