In Braunschweig suchen wir Sie für den Fachbereich 3.5 „Explosionsschutz in der Energietechnik“ als:

  • Entgeltgruppe 13 TVöD Bund ○ befristet für 1 Jahr ○ Vollzeit

Ihre Aufgaben:

Sie unterstützen die Arbeitsgruppe 3.51 „Analyse und Simulation im Explosionsschutz“ mit folgenden Tätigkeiten:

  • Entwicklung von Ladungsverstärkern zur Messung kleiner elektrischer Felder
  • Messung der Ladung von Partikeln und Tropfen
  • Entwicklung und Herstellung von elektronischen Schaltkreisen
  • Präsentation und Publikation der wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse

  • Ihr Profil:**
  • Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Diplom/Master) und Promotion in Physik, Elektrotechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Ingenieurwissenschaft
  • Programmierkenntnisse
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Elektrostatik und der Entwicklung von Schaltkreisen
  • Erfahrung in der Überführung von Forschungsergebnissen in innovative Technologie ist von Vorteil
  • Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Englischkenntnisse (C1-Niveau)
  • Bereitschaft zu Dienstreisen

At our Braunschweig site, we are looking to fill the following position in Department 3.5 (Explosion Protection in Energy Technology):

  • Postdoc in Physics, Electrostatics, Electrical Engineering
  • Remuneration Group 13 TVöD Bund ○ One-year fixed term ○ Full-time

Your tasks:

You will support Working Group 3.51 “Analysis and Simulation in Explosion Protection.” Your activities will include:

  • Development of charge amplifiers to measure small electrical fields
  • Electrostatic charge measurement of particles and droplets
  • Development and fabrication of electronic circuits
  • Presentation and publication of scientific results

Your profile:

  • Master degree and PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline
  • Programing skills
  • Sound knowledge in electrostatics and the development of electronic circuits
  • Experience in technology transfer is of advantage
  • You are a team player with good communication skills
  • You have achieved C1 level in English
  • You are willing to travel for work both in Germany and abroad
