2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/ Feed Mill Technician

Job Description Summary:

We are looking for candidates with technical expertise to join our team as a 2nd Shift Logistical Coordinator/Feed Mill Technician at Athens, Alabama, Feed Mill. This Position will be responsible for Ingredient requisition, operation of processing equipment, and coordination of feed dispatch. Job Description:

• •Reviews feeds, orders, and inputs data into spreadsheets
• •Schedules, Records, and Files reclaim feed request
• •Operates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredients
• •Coordinates/pairs loads and Dispatches drivers to farms
• •Delegate workload to drivers, while trying to evenly balance driving hours
• •Reviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading process
• •Inputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control program
• •Operate equipment, including receiving, batching, grinding, pelleting, and loadout.
• •Complete FDA reports
• •Maintaining Bio-Security Protocol at all times, along with routine sanitation
• •Obtain week-ending inventories
• •Engage in weekly Plant fumigation
• •Operates equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, sweepers
• •May perform other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• •High School diploma or equivalent
• •Knowledge of business English and Arithmetic
• •Computer Experience is necessary, fluid in Microsoft Excel.
• •Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• •Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
• •Ability to perform task with accuracy and efficiency
• •Ability to maintain records, and to generate reports which require extreme accuracy
• •Ability to multi task in high stress environment
