Job Description

Role: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 4pm-2am Mon-Friday

Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• •Learning the processes of how products are made and all the steps that go into it.
• •Learning about site-specific equipment and how it should properly function.
• •Maintaining smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
• •Troubleshooting specific industrial equipment by using precise measuring and testing instruments
• •Dismantling and reassembling of equipment using hand and power tools.
• •Inspecting and assessing the wear and remaining useful life of various power transmission components
• •Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• •Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with the Company’s procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

• •The position is subject to 24-hour call-out, shift, and weekend work.
• •Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas.

• •Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures or other relevant safety practices
• •3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
• •Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred
• •Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• •Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
• •Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
• •Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment
