ABA Practitioner / Learning Intervention Specialist

About the role

The Children's Institute of Hong Kong Limited is seeking an ABA Practitioner to join our team in the Southern District. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing individualised support and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teenagers with neurodiverse needs.

What you'll be doing

Work directly with neurodiverse students on a one-to-one, two-to-one basis, or small group teaching

Implement individualised programs designed by BCBAs

Provide behavioural, social, and/ or academic support to neurodiverse students in mainstream school setting

Prepare teaching materials and differentiation of lesson plans, data collection, report to parents and supervisors

Closely monitoring each student's progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, teachers, and family members to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's development

Maintaining detailed records and progress reports for each student

Participating in team meetings and ongoing training to continuously improve your expertise

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Psychology, special education, or a related field

Preferred working experience in supporting neurodiverse needs students

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and the professional team

Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, adaptable approach to supporting each student's unique needs

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with neurodiverse needs
