The School of Humanities, Social and Education Sciences, Department of Education Sciences, seeks to recruit qualified academics following disciplines and academic ranks:
- Special & Inclusive Education (Any Rank)
- Sociology of Education (Lecturer/Assistant Professor)
Duties and responsibilities:
As described in the University’s Charter by Laws
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Doctorate degree (PhD holder in the relevant field)
- Postgraduate Degree in the relevant field
- Expertise, teaching experience and strong background in Education Sciences and more specifically in the relevant disciplines ( Special & Inclusive Education and Sociology of Education )
- Digital Competences
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Evidence of producing high impact publications in major are

- Emotionally Intelligent
Former Teaching and Research Experience :
- For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
- For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
- For the rank of Associate Professor at least 8 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
- For the rank of Professor at least 12 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
