Successful candidates will benefit from a significant reduction in teaching load from the first year of their appointment. The extent of the reduction will depend on the quantity and quality of their Scopus-indexed publications over the past five (5) years.

The School of Sciences, Department of Health Sciences seeks to recruit qualified academics in the following disciplines and ranks:

  • Physiotherapy (with specialization in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) (Any rank)
  • Fundamental Nursing Skills (Lecturer or Assistant Professor)
  • Nursing (Special Teaching Personnel (STP))
  • Radiologic Technology and Radiotherapy (Any Rank)

Duties and responsibilities:

As described in the University’s Charter by laws

Required qualifications, skills and competences:

  • Doctorate degree (PhD holder in a relevant field)
  • For the Nursing - STP position a Master Degree
  • Technology oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Very good interpersonal skills

Former Teaching Experience :

  • For the rank of Lecturer, substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required.
  • For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required.
  • For the rank of Associate Professor at least 8 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
  • For the rank of Professor at least 12 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Proof of qualifications
  • 2 letters of reference (To be submitted by referees upon request)
  • Sample of representative publication(s)
