Job Title: Residential Account Director

Reports to: SVP, Community Solutions

Status: Full-Time/Exempt

Location: Central Florida or Southwest Florida

Summit Broadband Inc. is a cutting-edge, fiber-based broadband provider delivering best-in-class technology solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality customers. Headquartered in Central Florida, this growing, dynamic company is seeking a Residential Account Director to join its Sales Team and expand the company presence across Summit Broadband’s Florida market.

Position Summary:

The Residential Account Director is a 100% hunter-focused sales role responsible for winning new residential bulk communities within Summit Broadband’s current market. The position requires consistent, proactive prospecting, networking, and territory development to generate qualified opportunities across homeowners' associations (HOAs), condominium owners’ associations (COAs), and multifamily dwelling units (MDUs). The Account Director is expected to add valid, qualified opportunities to the sales pipeline each week and month, maintain accurate pipeline activity, and advance prospects through the sales process. The Account Director will serve as the primary liaison between the company and community decision-makers throughout the sales cycle and must clearly articulate Summit Broadband’s unique value proposition in the marketplace.

Job Description:

  • Identify and target prospective residential bulk communities to develop new business.
  • Develop and execute territory prospecting strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
  • Maintain a 100% hunter focus by consistently prospecting and adding valid, qualified opportunities to the sales pipeline each week and month in accordance with established activity and pipeline goals.
  • Sell the full suite of services to residential bulk communities.
  • Prepare sales order documentation and coordinate installation dates.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-up.
  • Achieve the annual sales quota based on units sold.
  • Attend property and committee meetings during the pre-sale, transition, and post-launch phases.
  • Maintain required records and reports of all sales and service activities.
  • Generate new lead sources and develop strategic networking relationships.
  • Create and maintain a prospect funnel that includes MDU contract expiration dates.
  • Qualify sales opportunities and align internal resources to provide appropriate sales support.
  • Provide the data required to analyze return on investment for prospective opportunities.
  • Forecast and budget residential bulk revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Engineering, Customer Operations, and Construction, to ensure new opportunities and solutions remain on schedule through service delivery.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three years of experience selling residential services in the residential bulk market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to pass required criminal background screening and drug testing.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • This position follows a hybrid schedule. In-office participation is required for designated staff meetings.
  • Additional travel within the assigned market may be required.
