At Delaware Elevator , our continued growth and expansion in the Mid-Atlantic region has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced, career-minded Sales Professional to join our team.

As an Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, close deals, and grow our market share across Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis. You’ll start with a focus on service-based sales, with opportunities to expand your responsibilities and earning potential based on your performance.

What You’ll Do

Drive Sales Growth: Sell maintenance agreements and repair contracts to commercial clients while identifying opportunities for new business.

Build Your Territory: Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong sales pipeline using regional marketing strategies and industry relationships.

Own the Sales Process: Qualify leads, schedule meetings, develop proposals, estimate projects, and close profitable deals.

Develop Lasting Relationships: Build strong, ongoing partnerships with general contractors, facility managers, building owners, and commercial clients.

Collaborate for Success: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to promote the Delaware Elevator brand and deliver exceptional customer service.

Manage Your Business: Maintain accurate sales data and activity in CRM platforms and prepare monthly sales reports.

Know Your Market: Stay informed on regional construction projects, market trends, and opportunities for growth.

Represent the Brand: Serve as a professional, knowledgeable, and trusted representative of Delaware Elevator.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who is confident building relationships, managing a territory, and delivering results.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience in commercial construction or a related industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritize opportunities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the elevator industry, commercial building systems, or a related technical field.

Mechanical or electrical aptitude.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Willingness to complete technical training within the first 6 months.
