Job Description

Just imagine taking ownership of the month-end close, resolving complex balance sheet issues and helping create accurate financial reporting. Then make it real.

Core Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and dependable accounting processes for Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.

If you've worked in a role where you owned month-end activities, prepared financial reporting and resolved accounting issues, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is sound accounting judgement, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership when something needs to be worked through.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning general ledger accounting and managing month-end close activities.
  • Reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial information to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Investigating balance sheet issues and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Supporting the resolution of complex accounting matters and improving the quality of financial information.
  • Supporting external audits and responding to audit queries.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and enhancing the effectiveness of accounting processes.

This is a temporary, one-year role based in Singapore. No relocation support is offered for this role.

What you'll bring

  • Relevant experience in general ledger accounting, or experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or other finance areas with a strong understanding of general ledger accounting.
  • Experience owning month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Experience resolving complex balance sheet issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Experience preparing accounting outputs and addressing audit queries for assigned entities.
  • Experience applying accounting principles to resolve complex accounting matters and support accurate financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Korean language skills are an advantage for working with stakeholders in Korea.
