About the Role

McKesson is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting and process improvement initiatives.

This internship provides an opportunity to apply your business, accounting and finance knowledge in a practical environment while building hands-on experience with Excel, financial data analysis, reporting and basic financial modelling .

You’ll work with financial and operational data, prepare insights for internal stakeholders and contribute to initiatives designed to improve and automate Finance processes.

What You’ll Do

• •Support accounting and finance analysis through data collection, validation and reporting .
• •Build, organise and maintain Excel datasets used to support financial and operational decision-making.
• •Assist with basic financial analysis, modelling and trend analysis .
• •Prepare financial summaries, reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
• •Contribute to Finance process improvement and automation initiatives .
• •Provide ad hoc accounting and finance support as required.

Basic Requirements

• •Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s programme in Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field .
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel .

Preferred Skills/Experience

• •Experience with Python or data analytics .
• •Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• •Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• •Self-motivated with the ability to manage assigned work effectively.
• •Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
