Accounting Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Associate handles general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• •Handles and completes general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
• •Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting (credit, debit), Microsoft Word and Excel.
• •Ability to work with detail and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• •ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :

Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• •Regularly performs computer work and sits.
• •Occasionally walks and stands.
• •Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.
