Accounts Payable Manager

Essential Job Duties:

• •Manage and oversee the accounts payable team, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
• •Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding, authorization, and documentation.
• •Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
• •Maintain vendor relationships, including communicating payment terms and resolving vendor inquiries.
• •Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of accounts payable transactions.
• •Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable process and enhance efficiency.
• •Manage preparation and processing of payment files.
• •Ensure approval of all payment requests in accordance with company policies.
• •Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• •Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field preferred but not required.
• •7+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• •Experience with dropshipping e-commerce business model and high volume preferred.
• •Experience with Oracle required.
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• •Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
