Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Overview

Provide technical and general accounting services in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley rules and financial reporting requirements of the business unit (e.g. local GAAP).

Essential Functions

Month end close, blackline

Compliance control

Order and contract maintenance (changes to prices, users, data period etc.)

Billing

Revenue recognition

Process accruals and other templates such as revenue/product/client transfers

Upload information to Blackline

Preparation of required docs for month end close for local finance teams

Attendance of internal training sessions

Organization of monthly calls with local office

Maintain country specific documentation needed for processing and keep them updated

Preparation of samples for SOX audits

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Commercial studies/school or commercial apprenticeship

1-year experience in finance, administrative, or customer support

Tool knowledge – SAP, PeopleSo Finance, Oracle – nice to have

Fluent in English (oral and written) is a MUST

Fluent knowledge of German OR French OR Italian OR Spanish is an asset

Good team player
