JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions across a variety of disciplines for the 2025–2026 academic year. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in the following areas:

• •Accounting
• •Economics
• •Finance
• •Functional Data Analytics
• •Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies
• •Interdisciplinary Science and Business
• •International Business
• •Management Information Systems
• •Marketing
• •Project and Supply Chain Management

Position Responsibilities:

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for:

• •Delivering high-quality instruction in assigned courses
• •Creating and utilizing syllabi and course materials approved by the School
• •Fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• •Providing timely feedback and academic support to students
• •Collaborating with faculty and adhering to departmental standards

Qualifications:

• •A master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field is required.
• •Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Appointment Details:

• •These are semester-by-semester , non-tenure-track academic appointments.
• •Positions are offered without benefits and do not guarantee renewal .

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
