About the Opportunity

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities and its nine tenure units are the home of the Experiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, and engagement missions, the college collaborates across the university, the Northeastern network, and partners around the globe.

Responsibilities:

The Department of Economics seeks applicants for part-time teaching in its undergraduate program on the Northeastern University Oakland campus.

Applicants qualified to teach economics classes in any field are encouraged to apply to be considered for openings that arise. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for the preparation and administration of assigned classes, including administering exams, holding appropriate office hours, and grading. Classes are taught on the Oakland campus.

Positions available contingent upon enrollment, funding, and programmatic need.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree in Economics preferred; Master’s degree required for undergraduate teaching. College-level teaching experience preferred.

Pay Range:

The rate per credit is $2,484.48.
