The Education Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions in the graduate program in Special Education.

The Education Department at Keene State College is in the ongoing process of enhancing the curriculum in our program to better prepare our future educators for today’s diverse classrooms. The department utilizes assessments, feedback from the field, and our collective expertise to continually improve and evolve the education program. The Education Department includes both undergraduate and graduate programs in the preparation of teachers. Keene State College holds CAEP accreditation for all educator preparation programs.

Duties/Responsibilities

Category 1 (50%)

Design and deliver course content for credit courses

Category 2 (45%)

Prepare lesson plans and course materials. Assess student learning. Assign grades, refer students to support services. Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.

Category 3 (5%)

Abide with USNH and KSC policies, participate in appropriate department/unit meetings.

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

Earned Master’s degree in Education or related field by August 1, 2026.

Minimum of three years full-time teaching experience in special education settings in schools.

Preferred Qualifications:

College teaching experience

Supervision experience

Compensation Pay Range:

$800.00/$840.00
