Job Description:

We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Administration Assistant to join our Workers Compensation team. In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative support across the claims function, with a key focus on processing and managing invoices related to WorkCover claims.

You’ll work closely with our claims and finance teams to ensure payments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with WorkSafe Victoria requirements and DXC standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, managing high volumes of administration and making sure the details are right.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices for medical, allied health and other claim-related services

Check invoice details against claim records and ensure payments are correctly coded and allocated

Identify and escalate discrepancies, duplicate invoices or incorrect payment requests

Manage invoice processing within established service levels and accuracy targets

Support the recoveries process by identifying and reporting incorrect or erroneous payments

Respond to and resolve payment queries with frontline claims and finance teams

Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed within required timeframes

Follow WorkSafe scheme rules, claims procedures and DXC processes

Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the broader claims function as required

Experience:

Previous experience in administration, invoice processing, accounts payable or financial administration

Experience within insurance, workers compensation or claims is desirable but not essential

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a high-volume environment

Strong data entry and organisational skills

Confidence working across systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

An understanding of compliance and audit requirements in a regulated environment would be advantageous

A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

These emails may request recipients to provide personal information or to make payments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process. DXC does not make offers of employment via social media networks and DXC never asks for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process, nor ask a job seeker to purchase IT or other equipment on our behalf.
