As a Delivery Consultant for Technology Expert Labs for Databases within IBM's Data Platform, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their Databases. This role specializes in delivering expert services for various database technologies, including Cloudera & Hadoop, DataStax, Db2, Elastic, EnterpriseDB, Informix, MongoDB, Netezza, and SingleStore. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Lead Database Optimization Services: Provide expert consulting services to clients to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their databases, ensuring they get the most out of their technology investments. • Deliver Solution Implementations: Collaborate with clients to design and implement database solutions that meet their specific business needs, leveraging expertise in various database technologies. • Develop Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored guidance on how to maximize the value of their database investments. • Analyze Database Performance: Conduct in-depth analysis of database performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimization and tuning. • Develop Best Practices: Establish and document best practices for database configuration, deployment, and management, sharing knowledge with clients and internal teams. • Database Optimization Expertise: Experience with optimizing database configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis for various database technologies, including Cloudera & Hadoop, DataStax, Db2, Elastic, EnterpriseDB, Informix, MongoDB, Netezza, and SingleStore. • Database Solution Design: Experience in designing and implementing database solutions that meet specific business needs, leveraging expertise in multiple database technologies. • Database Performance Analysis: Experience with conducting in-depth analysis of database performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimization and tuning. • Database Management Best Practices: Experience in establishing and documenting best practices for database configuration, deployment, and management. • Technical Leadership: Experience leading technical projects or workstreams related to database optimization, solution implementation, and performance analysis. • Cloudera & Hadoop Expertise: Experience with Cloudera & Hadoop database technologies, including configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis. • DataStax and NoSQL Knowledge: Experience with DataStax and other NoSQL databases, including design, implementation, and performance analysis. • Multi-Database Technology Familiarity: Experience working with multiple database technologies, including Db2, Elastic, EnterpriseDB, Informix, MongoDB, Netezza, and SingleStore.
