Aftercare Provider

Description

St. James Catholic School is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic individual to join our Aftercare Team. The Aftercare Staff Member is responsible for providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students during the after-school hours.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 3:00–5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• •Supervise students in the aftercare program and ensure their safety and well-being.
• •Provide a welcoming, positive, and nurturing environment for students.
• •Engage students in age-appropriate games, activities, crafts, and play.
• •Help maintain a clean and organized aftercare environment.
• •Follow all school and aftercare policies and procedures.
• •Communicate professionally and positively with students, families, and school staff.
• •Assist with student dismissal and ensure students are released according to established procedures.

Qualifications

• •Enjoys working with children and demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and dependability.
• •Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment for students.
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
