Afternoon Shift Line Worker

Essential Functions

• •Placing sealed individual units in packaging and ensuring proper package sealing.
• •Repackaging improperly sealed, or coded, product.
• •Disposing of scrap product and raw materials.
• •Keeping work area clean.
• •Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and Ziegenfelder environmental, health, and safety directives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• •Must be 18 years of age or older
• •Prior experience in food service or production preferred

Physical Requirements

• •Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• •Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
• •Perform continuous bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions
• •Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness

Working Conditions

Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)

Compensation & Benefits

• •Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
• •Schedule: 40 hours per week with consecutive set days off
• •Benefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment
