AI DevOps - Trainee

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an AI DevOps Trainee to join the Group Data Delivery team. The position will be based in Porto, and start as soon as possible. This is an internship opportunity.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• •Building and improving AI agents that autonomously perform DevOps activities
• •Developing knowledge stores for internal and external users
• •Supporting Group Data Delivery services used by teams across the group
• •Maintaining and improving pipelines and platform infrastructure serving data products and AI workloads
• •Integrating AI capabilities via REST APIs, MCP servers and agentic orchestration frameworks
• •Supporting monitoring, testing and troubleshooting of AI solutions in production
• •Assisting with incident resolution and reporting progress through Jira and stand-ups

Your profile:

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science or a related field (or currently studying towards one)
• •Solid knowledge of Python and software development best practices
• •Foundations in Linux or Unix and core networking concepts
• •Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• •Understanding of generative AI concepts and interest in LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering and AI agents
• •Awareness of RESTful APIs from a user’s perspective
• •Nice to have: exposure to cloud services (AWS or Azure), FastAPI or frontend development
• •Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
• •Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken
• •Collaborative attitude and genuine curiosity for emerging AI technologies

The Group Data Delivery team builds and runs the platforms that teams across Euronext use to create data products and AI services. You will work alongside experienced DevOps engineers and AI developers, gaining hands-on experience with cloud, infrastructure-as-code and AI tooling, and contributing to real solutions for financial markets.
