AI Engineer (LLM & Edge AI)

TrustMotion part of NXP is looking for AI Engineer to join our growing team working on next-generation AI solutions for embedded platforms.

The role focuses on development, fine-tuning, optimization, and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs), with a strong emphasis on bringing AI from concept to execution on hardware platforms.

What You Will Do

• •Design, develop, and optimize AI solutions based on LLMs and VLMs
• •Fine-tune foundation models for specific use cases and domains
• •Develop and maintain AI agents using modern Agentic Frameworks
• •Design and develop MCP tools and integrate them into AI agent workflows
• •Evaluate model performance, accuracy, latency, and resource utilization
• •Deploy and optimize AI models on embedded and edge computing platforms
• •Create proof-of-concepts and support product development activities
• •Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry trends

What We Are Looking For

• •BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• •2+ years of relevant professional experience
• •Strong programming skills
• •Good understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals
• •Hands-on experience with LLMs, VLMs, or other Generative AI systems
• •Hands-on experience with model fine-tuning and evaluation techniques
• •Experience using AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or similar
• •Understanding of software engineering best practices and version control systems
• •Experience with Agentic AI frameworks
• •Experience with MCP tools and AI tools integration

Nice to Have

• •Knowledge of model optimization and edge AI deployment
• •Experience with Linux environments
• •Experience working with multimodal AI systems
• •Embedded systems experience, particularly in AI model deployment and performance optimization
