This role pays: $17.50 to 22.95 per hour (DOE)

Work Hours: 3:00pm to 7:30pm (Other shifts may be offered)

Our Servers:

• •Creates a warm, positive dining atmosphere through excellent customer service.
• •Presents menus to residents, explains daily meal options, and provides suggestions as needed.
• •Answers questions about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• •Records food orders accurately and relays them to the kitchen.
• •Delivers meals and beverages promptly, ensuring appropriate temperatures are maintained.
• •Observes residents to identify and fulfill additional needs or requests.
• •Assists residents with salad and breakfast bar selections and delivers trays as necessary.
• •Clears, cleans, and resets tables efficiently for upcoming meal services.
• •Supports daily dining room setup, including coffee brewing, dessert portioning, and soup or salad bar preparation.
• •Follows established food service policies and infection control procedures.
• •Always maintains safe and sanitary work areas.
• •Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals
• •Perform other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed:

• •At least 18 years of age.
• •Previous server experience highly preferred.
• •6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
• •Software experience using POS (point-of-sale) transactional systems
• •Must possess effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• •Must possess or obtain valid First Aid certification within 30 days of hire, as required by Title 22.
• •Must obtain a valid California Food Handler Card (or ServSafe equivalent) within 30 days of hire and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
