YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish trusting, professional coaching relationships with residential program clients, Alumni, and Aftercare clients, providing encouragement, accountability, and support throughout their recovery journey and transition into independent living.
- Assess client needs, develop individualized plans, coordinate services and resources, monitor and document progress, track goals and outcomes, and advocate for clients throughout their program journey.
- Provide recovery coaching and support, including relapse prevention, peer connections, supportive communities and resources, and encouragement toward individual recovery goals.
- Conduct assessments using the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and help clients develop practical strategies for maintaining recovery, stable employment, healthy relationships, and independent living.
- Connect Alumni and Aftercare clients with appropriate medical, behavioral health, employment, housing, and community resources that promote long-term stability.
- Facilitate individual and group recovery meetings and activities that reinforce sober living, healthy coping skills, life skills, and continued personal growth.
- Facilitate required Aftercare activities, including monthly one-on-one meetings, home visits, and other program expectations.
- Coordinate and participate in alumni outreach, ceremonies, events, and Alumni Connect activities that strengthen continued engagement with PRM.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation of participant contacts, progress, services, referrals, community engagement, and required program reports.
- Participate in and facilitate prayer, devotions, testimonies, and other faith-based activities that support continued recovery and spiritual growth.
Requirements
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum one year of experience in social services, recovery support, mentoring, peer support, case management, or direct client services required.
- Experience supporting individuals transitioning from residential treatment or recovery programs into community living preferred.
- Knowledge of recovery principles, relapse prevention, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based approaches to client support.
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, coaching, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with community resources related to behavioral health, healthcare, housing, employment, benefits, and other supportive services.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record and the ability to meet Mission driving requirements required.
- This is a safety-sensitive position due to driving responsibilities, community-based activities, home visits, and interaction with individuals who may experience behavioral health or recovery-related challenges.
- Demonstrated personal commitment to following Christ and a lifestyle consistent with PRM’s Statement of Faith.
