Job Description:

Combat System Technician

• •Conducts repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs).
• •Subject Matter Expert with all AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment. Familiar with all legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment.
• •Analyzes failures and faults and provides corrective solutions required in order to implement equipment repair.
• •Conducts testing and restoration activities as required.
• •Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of applicable experience.
• •Must have active Secret Clearance

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $34.00 - $46.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
