Analyst/Associate - Relationship Manager, Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure, Corporate Banking

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities

Support the Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure (ERI) team in managing client relationships and executing banking solutions across the sector in Singapore and selected DBS footprint countries.

Client Coverage & Relationship Management

• •Support senior bankers in managing relationships with existing clients across the Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure sectors.
• •Assist in preparing account plans, client presentations, briefing materials and call reports for client meetings.
• •Participate in client engagements and internal discussions to support business development initiatives.
• •Support the identification and evaluation of New-to-Bank opportunities and assist in client acquisition efforts.

Business & Transaction Support

• •Work closely with product partners across Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury & Markets, Sustainability and Investment Banking to deliver holistic banking solutions to clients.
• •Assist in the execution of financing, sustainability-linked and advisory transactions.
• •Support the team in identifying cross-sell opportunities and preparing relevant client proposals.

Credit & Portfolio Management

• •Prepare and support credit reviews, annual reviews and credit approval papers for existing and prospective clients.
• •Conduct industry, company and financial analysis, including assessment of financial statements, cash flows and key credit metrics.
• •Monitor portfolio developments and highlight potential risks or opportunities to senior team members.
• •Support loan documentation and transaction execution processes in partnership with internal stakeholders.

Industry Research & Market Insights

• •Conduct research on industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics within the Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure sectors.
• •Prepare market updates and client insights to support relationship and business development activities.

Stakeholder Management

• •Collaborate effectively with product specialists, risk managers, legal, operations and regional coverage teams to support client deliverables.
• •Maintain strong working relationships across DBS geographies and functions to facilitate execution and client service.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• •1 to 3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, project finance, credit analysis, infrastructure financing, consulting or related fields.
• •Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance.
• •Interest in the Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure sectors and willingness to develop sector expertise.
• •Good understanding of corporate banking and financial markets products would be advantageous.
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation preparation and business writing.
• •Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• •Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
