Analyst, Sustainable Procurement

Job Summary

Supports IFF's sustainable procurement strategy through the implementation of regulatory compliance programs, supplier documentation processes, compliance monitoring, and supply chain due diligence activities.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• •Support the implementation of sustainable procurement compliance programs related to supply chain regulations and customer requirements.
• •Monitor emerging regulations impacting procurement and supply chains and summarize implications for internal stakeholders.
• •Support the development and maintenance of compliance processes, procedures, guidance documents, and training materials.
• •Coordinate supplier compliance data collection and documentation requests through internal systems and supplier platforms.
• •Support the administration and continuous improvement of compliance and traceability tools, including supplier onboarding and user support.
• •Conduct data quality reviews and validation checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of supplier information.
• •Prepare reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics for Procurement, Sustainability, and leadership teams.
• •Support internal and external audit readiness activities by maintaining documentation and evidence repositories.
• •Collaborate with Procurement, Sustainability, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to address compliance requirements and process improvements.
• •Support communication and awareness initiatives related to sustainable procurement compliance programs.
• •Support supplier due diligence activities with suppliers in Latin America, including supplier engagement, sustainability assessments, and follow-up on identified risks and improvement opportunities.
• •Participate in selected supplier visits and field assessments to support due diligence efforts, validate information, and strengthen supplier relationships.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• •Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• •Early-career professional with experience gained through internships, graduate programs, or up to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• •Exposure to compliance, sustainability, procurement, supply chain, regulatory affairs, risk management, or data analysis is preferred.
• •Experience supporting cross-functional projects is an advantage.
• •Proficiency with Excel is required.
• •Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• •Attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
• •Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into practical processes and actions.
• •Curiosity and willingness to learn about sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
• •Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• •Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (written and verbal) are required.

How Would You Stand Out?

• •Familiarity with emerging sustainability and supply chain regulations, including EUDR, PPWR, FLR, and similar regulatory frameworks, is an advantage.
• •Experience with compliance, traceability, supplier management, or ESG platforms (e.g., osapiens, EcoVadis, Sedex, SAP) is a plus.
• •Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools is a plus.
• •Additional languages, particularly Spanish, are considered a plus.
