Job Overview

SANeForce is looking for a skilled Android Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining and enhancing Android applications.The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Java, Kotlin, XML, PHP, and SQL Server , along with a good understanding of Android application development, REST API integration, database management, and Firebase services.

The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable, responsive and user-friendly Android applications while collaborating with backend developers, QA engineers, and other technical stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and XML.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly application interfaces following Android UI/UX guidelines.
  • Work with core Android components, including Activities, Fragments, Services, and Broadcast Receivers.
  • Integrate REST APIs and PHP-based backend services with Android applications.
  • Develop, debug, and troubleshoot PHP-based APIs and backend integration issues.
  • Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries, joins, CRUD operations, and database transactions using SQL Server.
  • Work with JSON data and handle API requests and responses.
  • Implement local database storage using SQLite or Room and support offline data synchronization.
  • Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications and Firebase Crashlytics for crash monitoring.
  • Implement location-based features using Google Maps and Android Location APIs.
  • Develop camera-related functionalities and manage background processing.
  • Debug application issues, analyze crash reports, and optimize application performance.
  • Use Git for version control, branching, merging, and code management.
  • Manage application builds, testing, signing, and deployment through Google Play Console.
  • Maintain and enhance existing production applications based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software solutions.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Java: Strong hands-on experience in Java-based Android application development.
  • Kotlin: Practical experience in Kotlin for Android development.
  • XML: Proficiency in designing and customizing Android UI layouts using XML.
  • PHP: Working experience in PHP development, API integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • SQL Server: Hands-on experience writing SQL queries, joins, CRUD operations, and database management.
  • Android Development: Good understanding of Android Studio, Activities, Fragments, Services, Intents, and application lifecycle.
  • REST API: Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON responses.
  • Firebase: Knowledge of Firebase Cloud Messaging and Crashlytics.
  • Version Control: Experience using Git for source code management.
