Position Requirements

• Anesthesiologist role collaborating at BronxCare, NYC’s largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system With more than 4,500 employees and 859 beds, BronxCare serves city residents as the largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system covering the South and Central Bronx. The BronxCare network provides close to 1 million outpatient visits, and ER volume has increased to 140,000 visits annually. • Key Responsibilities
• •Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• •Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• •Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• •Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• •Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• •Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

• Requirements
• •MD or DO from an accredited institution
• •Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• •Board Eligible or Board Certified
• •Current medical licensure
• •ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
