  • Opening for an anesthesiologist to join nationally recognized Christiana Care, Union Hospital. Earning national accolades for clinical excellence, Christiana Care, Union Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital based in Elkton, MD. Licensed for 75 beds, this innovative facility combines the latest technology and a supportive atmosphere to offer advanced, effective care for treating and preventing disease. Building on its 110-year history of service, the full-service hospital is committed to providing the people of Cecil County, MD, and neighboring communities in southern Pennsylvania and Delaware with high-quality, personalized healthcare. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

  • Schedule: 4 day work week
  • General surgery, urology, and endo
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
  • Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Current medical licensure
  • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
