Position Requirements

• Description
• Anesthesiologist opening with Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by rolling farmland and wooded forests. Part-time welcome! The Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is a same-day, multispecialty surgery center and the longest-serving facility of its type for the community. The center features two treatment rooms providing local/monitored anesthesia care, one operating room designed for procedures requiring general anesthesia, a preoperative area, and a post-anesthesia care area.

• Case Assignments & Schedule
• •Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour). No call. No weekends.
• •Pain management, orthopedic, general, dental/oral, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive, podiatry, and endoscopy

• Key Responsibilities
• •Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• •Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• •Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• •Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• •Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• •Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

• Requirements
• •MD or DO from an accredited institution
• •Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• •Board Eligible or Board Certified
• •Current medical licensure
• •ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
