- Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: Weekdays 7a-6p. No call! Additional OT pay after-hours.
- Mainly ophthalmology procedures. Comfort with peribulbar blocks preferred - offering additional training upon willingness to learn.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
- Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
