About The Role

The AP Vendor Master Data Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of vendor master data across Pipe & Tube systems. This role will support vendor onboarding, vendor record maintenance, regulatory reporting, and Accounts Payable operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• •Create and maintain vendor master records in Pipe & Tube systems.
• •Process vendor additions, updates, and changes in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
• •Ensure all vendor documentation is properly approved, retained, and audit-ready.
• •Maintain consistency of shared vendor records across systems, including payment terms and payment methods.
• •Review inactive vendors and block or flag for deletion when unused for two years to reduce risk.
• •Support annual 1099 and 1042 reporting processes for all Pipe & Tube entities.
• •Provide backup support for Accounts Payable during vacations and peak workload periods.
• •Provide backup support for Concur and Bank of America administrator responsibilities as needed.
• •Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• •High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• •Experience in Accounts Payable, vendor master data management, or accounting preferred.
• •Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• •Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
