Wash Bay Technician

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Wash Bay Technician , you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

Prepare and wash vehicles for protective coating and related services

Pay close attention to debris such as road tar and environmental particles

Perform washing, claying, and surface preparation with precision

Follow instructions, procedures, and processes to maintain service quality

Provide great customer service while supporting overall shop operations

Has basic knowledge of vehicle washing and surface preparation

Work Environment

This position works in a shop setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The employee will work with:

Power washer hoses and spray guns

Wet indoor areas with scrub pads, chemical lines, and spray bottles

Physical Demands

To successfully perform this job, the employee must be able to:

Use hands to handle tools, reach, and communicate

Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently

Occasionally sit, climb, or balance

Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs. , and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Maintain strong visual abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus)

Stand and/or move most of the day with minimal sitting

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities .
