Essential Responsibilities:

• •Erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings
• •Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly to specification
• •Execute rigging and signaling for crane lifts, guiding loads safely into place
• •Interpret blueprints, drawings, and lift plans to support accurate installation
• •Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems
• •Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment, and access equipment
• •Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities
• •Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality

Requirements:

• •Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• •Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority
• •Previous industrial construction experience
• •Must be able to work from heights
• •Fall Protection Certification
• •Valid government ID
• •Project online orientations must be completed

Work Conditions:

• •Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off or 5 days on / 2 days off
• •LOA & Travel Allowance available
• •Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
• •Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
• •Weekly payment of Wages
