Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or movement disorders. The role focuses on restoring mobility, improving physical function, reducing pain, and enhancing patients' overall quality of life through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions, mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other physiotherapy interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and improving functional independence.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control policies, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development activities.
