Position Responsibilities:

• •Coordinating safe and efficient operations to meet production and quality targets within budgeted costs
• •Supervising unionized wage and salaried non-union personnel
• •Budgeting and cost management
• •Identifying cost and efficiency improvement opportunities
• •Ensuring personnel are adequately trained to perform their jobs
• •Directing outside contractors as needed

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• •Bachelor of Science degree in engineering discipline or related technical experience (chemical engineering preferred)
• •Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervision (chemical manufacturing) role
• •Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• •Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings
• •Must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks at a time
• •Analytical skills and a desire to provide “attention to detail”
• •Excellent track record of accomplishments demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to produce positive results
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Ability to lead and motivate others
• •Strong change management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• •SAP proficiency
• •Knowledge of chemical process equipment
• •Knowledge of OSHA PSM (Process Safety Management)
