Job Description

Job Summary**

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share for Bard India Healthcare Private Limited within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities**

  • * Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs for the designated territory.
  • * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and ensure strong market presence.
  • * Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • * Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions.
  • * Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • * Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and business reviews to senior management.
  • * Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • * Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize sales efficiency.
  • * Participate in product launches, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • * Provide market feedback to marketing and product development teams to inform future strategies.

Job Qualifications**

  • * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • * Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience and 2-3 years of device experience
  • * Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • * Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare market and distribution channels.
  • * Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • * Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop effective strategies.
  • * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • * Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • * Valid driver's license.
