Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for equipment sales, dealer development, and customer success? We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager – Turf/ Commercial, Construction, RLC Equipment (Residential, Landscape & Contractor) and aftersales to join our team and play a key role in driving sales growth across Sydney to Northern NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading product portfolio, develop strong dealer partnerships, and contribute to the ongoing success of our business.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, Dealer Equipment , you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within your territory through dealer engagement, business development, product demonstrations (tow and show), marketing initiatives, and customer relationship management.

You will work closely with dealers, customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure sales targets are achieved while delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective dealers.
  • Monitor dealer performance and implement strategies to improve sales growth and profitability.
  • Identify market opportunities and recruit new dealers where required.
  • Provide dealer training, sales support, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular product demonstrations for dealers and end users.
  • Support local marketing campaigns, field days, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues relating to products, pricing, deliveries, and accounts.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, expense submissions, and CRM updates.
  • Promote finance solutions and ancillary products to support sales outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHSE requirements, and ethical business standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven success in a sales role within the equipment, machinery, agricultural, turf care, landscaping, or related industries.
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and close sales opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Sound commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales performance and market opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team environment.
  • An understanding of mechanical equipment and its operational applications.
  • A professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach.

What's Required

  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly within your territory, including interstate travel and occasional international travel.
