Through our portfolio of valves, actuators, controllers, and related services, we help customers improve safety, operational performance, and sustainability while ensuring reliable process operations worldwide.

We are looking for an ambitious and customer-oriented sales professional to drive profitable growth across Morocco and the wider North & Francophone Africa region, including Tunisia, Libya, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and other selected markets.

  • In this role, you will represent Valmet’s Flow Control portfolio, building strong relationships with industrial end customers, engineering companies, EPC contractors and channel partners. You will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic projects, support aftermarket and lifecycle sales, and help customers improve the reliability and performance of their operations.
  • This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys developing markets, creating new opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships by combining technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset.

This is a home-based position in Morocco, with regular customer visits and regional travel. Casablanca is the preferred location for this role; however, we welcome applications from qualified candidates located elsewhere in Morocco.

What you will do

  • Drive sales growth and develop business opportunities across Morocco and the North & Francophone Africa region
  • Build and strengthen relationships with industrial end users, EPC contractors, engineering companies, distributors, and other key stakeholders
  • Promote Valmet's Flow Control portfolio, including valves, actuators, controllers, and related services
  • Identify, develop, and convert project opportunities while supporting customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure profitable business agreements
  • Develop aftermarket and lifecycle business opportunities to maximize customer value and long-term partnerships
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, product, service, and technical support teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting through CRM and other business tools
  • Represent Valmet at customer meetings, technical discussions, industry events, and exhibitions

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Proven sales experience in valves, actuators, instrumentation, or related engineered equipment for process industries, with a track record of developing industrial accounts and winning business with end users and EPC contractors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline, combined with the ability to understand industrial applications and customer processes.
  • Experience working with engineering companies, distributors, channel partners, and other stakeholders across process industries.
  • Market knowledge and an established business network in Morocco; exposure to additional African markets is an advantage.
  • Experience in process industries such as phosphates, fertilizers, chemicals, mining, energy, oil & gas, power, or water.
  • Fluent communication skills in Arabic, French, and English.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently within a global matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
