• Saturday - Wednesday 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

• Hourly Rate: Starting at $20.00

ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Security Officer at Signet Jewelers, you’ll play a critical role in protecting our people, property, and assets while creating a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors. This position offers the opportunity to apply your security expertise in a professional setting with room to grow your skills and career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• •Safeguard the facility and distribution center by enforcing security procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• •Protect company assets through access control, screening of distribution areas, and inspection of outgoing materials, including mail and trash recovery.
• •Conduct patrols, monitor activities, and respond promptly to incidents while maintaining detailed and accurate reports.
• •Support investigations and asset recovery efforts in collaboration with the Security Leadership Team.
• •Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing training in firearms, hazardous materials, public safety, and security operations.
• •Build trust and rapport with employees and visitors by maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• •Perform other assignments and projects as directed by leadership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

• •High school diploma or GED required; Criminal Justice degree preferred.
• •Prior private security experience required; military or law enforcement background a plus.
• •Valid 20-Hour Private Security Firearms Certificate (O.P.O.T.C.) or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• •Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• •Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and protecting others.
